唔知有冇人提過... 其實呢樣野係可以既，岩岩試過係完全可以經internet hotsync，不過GPRS用左幾多就真係唔知 ，有無限GPRS既不妨試試。整體黎講其實都幾慢，不過叫做可以做到去到邊都可以hotsync。但有個唔好處係唔可以用domain name，一定要用真IP，唔知有冇o的可以o係Palm上面行"Ping"既軟件。

搵到而且試過冇問題既setting如下：

**** Setup on your Treo ****

• Click on the HotSync icon
• Go to Options --> Modem Sync Preferences. Choose "Network"
• Go to Options --> LanSync Preferences. Choose "Local HotSync"
• Go to Options --> Primary PC Address.
  __ a. Set "Primary PC Name" to "!!" (2 exclamation points with no quotes).
  __ b. Set "Primary PC Address" to the IP address (Must use actual IP Address, Dynamic DNS does not work) of the computer (or router) that is attached to the internet.
  __ c. Leave "Subnet Mask" blank
• Go to Options --> Connection Setup. Make sure the right GPRS dialup profile is highlighted. Click "Done".

**** Setup on your Computer ****

• Right-click the HotSync icon in the System tray and choose Setup.
• Click the Network tab
• Make sure the Profile you want to sync has a checkmark in the checkbox
• Click the TCP/IP Settings and make sure that your correct IP address is chosen. If you only have one Network adapter (in most cases) this will be grayed-out.
• Leave Subnet Mask blank and click OK.
• Click OK again to close the Setup window.
• Right-click the HotSync icon in the System tray and make sure "Network" has a checkmark next to it.

**** Firewalls & Routers ****
If your computer is behind a firewall or it has a router between it and the internet, you will have to do the following.

• Makesure you have the following ports open: TCP:14237 & TCP:14238. Thisis how HotSync (on your phone) communicates with HotSync on yourcomputer. So if you use a software firewall, you will have to allowHotSync to communicate with the internet over these ports. The Palmwebsite indicates that port 14238 is for UDP, but my tests indicatethat communication is happening over TCP.
• If you use a router, you will have to have all requests on those ports forward to the internal computer with HotSync

**** Doing your first HotSync over the Internet ****

• Click on HotSync and on the main screen, change from "Local" to "Modem"
• When you change to Modem, it should show "GPRS" as who it will dial.
• Press the HotSync icon on this screen. HotSync will dial outto GPRS and initiate the synchronizing. You will see the HotSyncnotification box popup on the HotSync computer as the process happens(just as it would if it was a local HotSync.)

岩岩望過個TrafficStat，似乎岩岩既GPRS Hotsync用左大約600kB左右，都唔算太過份 ....
不過大家記得記得記得 set 番 Media 係 "Do nothing"，唔係就大濟
